Life Lately: Vow Renewal Countdown, A Cranky Hip & Learning New Things 💗

Life has been a little bit of everything lately. 😂

Exciting things. Painful things. Growing things. And, apparently, my body deciding it would like some attention too. 🙄

First up…

💍 The Vow Renewal Is Coming!

Our vow renewal is getting closer and I am SO excited.

After 25 years of marriage, getting to stand beside Sean again and say, “Yep. Still you.” feels pretty darn special.

There have been a whole lot of chapters in those 25 years.

Beautiful ones. Hard ones. Funny ones. Heartbreaking ones. The “how are we even still functioning?” ones. 😂

But through every single season, God has been faithful.

I’ve been working on all the little details, and now it’s starting to feel REAL.

And because I am me, I’m sure I’ll still be changing something approximately five minutes before it starts. 😂

🙏 My Hip Has Entered the Chat

On a less exciting note, I somehow injured my hip and OUCH.

It is painful.

Like… every time I move I’m reminded that apparently I am no longer 22 and cannot just ignore an injury until it magically disappears. 😂

So if you’re a praying person, I would absolutely appreciate prayers for healing, less pain, and for this thing to calm down before the vow renewal.

Because hobbling down the aisle was NOT part of the aesthetic I had planned. 😂

💻 I’m Learning SO Much

I’ve also been working through the course I signed up for, and y’all…

It has been SO helpful.

I went into it wanting to learn more about content creation, UGC, Canva, Etsy, and how to take all of these ideas constantly bouncing around inside my head and actually DO something with them.

And it has been exactly the push I needed.

Sometimes we don’t necessarily need another brand-new idea.

Sometimes we need someone to help us organize the 4,782 ideas we already have. 😂

I feel like God has been reminding me lately:

“I gave you tools. Use them.”

And that has really stuck with me.

I love my makeup business. I love sharing the things I already do. But I also know God gave me creativity, ideas, writing, designing, and a whole lot of random things I genuinely enjoy doing.

So I’m letting myself explore them.

Learn.

Try things.

Mess some things up.

And keep going.

Because growth doesn’t always look like some giant life-changing moment.

Sometimes it looks like opening the laptop, watching the next lesson, trying the thing, and refusing to talk yourself out of it.

💗 So That’s Life Lately…

We’re counting down to the vow renewal.

I’m trying to convince my hip to cooperate.

I’m learning a TON.

And I’m really excited to see what God does with all of it.

Life certainly isn’t perfect over here.

But it’s full.

It’s growing.

And I’m grateful.

If you think about it, say a little prayer for my hip. 🙏 And I’ll keep sharing all the vow-renewal craziness, new things I’m learning, and whatever adventure God decides to toss at me next.

Because apparently quiet seasons are not really my thing. 😂💗
