My 10-year project is completed!
When Grandpa and I decided to tackle the book together, I knew it would be a project that we would always remember. Going through Landon’s whole life on a computer and paper is crazy! So many emotions, so many trials and tribulations, and tears, but a life that forever changed mine.
My dear friend Stacy always used to call herself BAM-Bad Ass Mom becuase there was NOTHING she would not do for her kids. I always admired her for that! Special needs parents need to be nurses, advocates, teachers, and their kids’ voices! Schools and hospitals are helpful but when push comes to shove-WE were the doctors and teachers, since Landon passed and this book has been published I have felt that I should be doing more…more of the advocacy, resource stuff so I finally set a date for our book celebration and signing AND teamed back up with Stacy and Heather to create P.A.U.S.E. An organization ran by us to help other parents in our situation! We are very excited to use our kills, gifts, and talents to help people in the special ed community!
We were such a powerhouse trio back in the day, it feels amazing to team up once again!
If you need help or know of someone who does, please share our information with them or reach out to us her and we will gladly get in touch! If you are in the Lake City area on June 28, come on down to Mercy & Grace Boutique to get your book signed! If you need a book look in the pages tab SHOP Amazed Boutique!
Blessings,
Missy
